FRUA maintains an actively moderated, private Facebook community as a benefit to parents who have adopted from one of the 32 countries served by FRUA as well as for adult adoptees. Users connect, learn from, and support each other; share experiences; communicate helpful research and contacts; and most importantly work together to be a village to our families and children.
Only FRUA Facebook users can see who is in the group or what they post. While FRUA is only as strong as it's paid memberships, contributors and volunteers, a paid annual FRUA membership is encouraged but not necessary to become a FRUA Facebook user.
Interested parents must complete a brief questionnaire before being accepted as a FB user, and must adhere to the group's ten rules. All rules are strictly enforced by FRUA moderators.
